I'm in construction. The building that is there now is known as tilt-wall construction. It is more a lot expensive that regular stick-wall construction until you get to around 20,000 sf, which bldg. is not.
Why the extra expense imposed on the local rank and file if not for better resale later?

How can I become a Christian? (gotquestions.org)
"This is the best part. Because of His love for us, God has made it exceedingly simple to become a Christian. All you have to do is receive Jesus as your Savior, fully accepting His death as the sufficient sacrifice for your sins (John 3:16), fully trusting Him alone as your Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Becoming a Christian is not all about rituals, going to church, or doing certain things while refraining from other things. Becoming a Christian is all about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, through faith, is what makes a person a Christian."Big Difference!

Will Lawyers Eventually Usurp Absolute Control Over The JW Religion ?
by smiddy3 ini have no trouble thinking this is a distinct possibility happening at some future date .more and more the g.b.members are relying on lawyers to get them out of tight spots that the g.b.
and the fact that they need lawyers to get them out of.. gradually and by stealth with making little in-roads here and there in gaining some measure of control in modifying doctrines to keep the religion one step ahead of the law ,they eventually manipulate events whereby they can take full control over the religion and oust the remaining g.b.members as apostates or whatever and take full control over the jehovah`s witness empire for themselves .. what do you think ?.
a possibility ?.

What’s The Worst Thing About Jehovah’s Witnesses?
by minimus inwitnesses brag about their brotherhood and incredible love that exists within the organization.
they say they are really the only true religion.
is the jw religion the closest thing to jesus christ himself?.

The fear-mongering they do to little kids.
Anyone raised in this cult will likely have some form of PTSD after leaving and will need help with their anxiety episodes.

Breezy - The reality of course was that they were just social retards.
Punky - I don't think you can broad-brush a whole community because of the actions of someone that annoyed you.
Thanks for pointing that out. But, I didn't do that. Please reread my comment.
Sticking your foot in a home owner's door that they are trying to close is socially retarded, if not an act of aggression. Not every JW did this, but the ones who did were held up as zealous, spiritual, fighting for Jehovah, etc. This kind of thing is part of the culture of JW's. - "Remember the zeal of Jehu who tolerated no rivalry before Jehovah"
Watchtower comments from 2011:
"There, Jehu “acted slyly, for the purpose of destroying the worshipers of Baal.”—2 Ki. 10:15-17, 19.
Jehu announced that he intended to hold “a great sacrifice” for Baal. (2 Ki. 10:18, 19) “This is a clever play on words on the part of Jehu,” says one scholar. While the term employed here “generally means ‘sacrifice,’ it is also used of the ‘slaughter’ of apostates.”
...No doubt you can see that circumstances faced by Christians today require that they manifest certain qualities possessed by Jehu. "
The message is clear: Christian believers that you meet at the doors (or gas stations) are likely apostates deserving slaughter. Threrefore acting aggressively (socio-pathically) towards them is actually a kindness compared to the slaughter they would get if it wasn't against the law.
In other words, the WT socializes and encourages their members to engage in social retardedness. The Russian government uses the term "extremist" to characterize the Organization. I like the term: "social retard".... means pretty much the same thing and varies among individual members.

Knowing that it will eventually be put to good use when it is sold at 100 % profit... sorta works for me. Think about it:
The proceeds will likely be given to the victims of Watchtower enabled unreported childhood sexual abuse. I know the leaders wont ever suffer and that the burden will be shifted to the rank and file. But, that is the price the R & F pay to feed their ego, self-righteousness, & victimhood complex.
Pretty hefty price to pay for a near total lack of common sense. -
